You did it! You are infinitely smarter now than when we first met 180+ days ago. You persevered through a rigorous trial but you still have challenges ahead. Hopefully now you can answer the question we asked at the beginning of the year (Why are you here?). For our final blog post I want you to consider each of the following and write a few sentences about each.
- reflect back on your first year and share a moment or two that you remember most fondly
- what was your most difficult challenge
- and finally, share with us what your plans are for the summer
It was a pleasure working with you all and I will miss you. Good luck on your finals!
Mr. T
My first year at Saint Saviour has gone by so fast and it feels like just yesterday I was getting ready to take midterms, but now I'm going to be taking finals in the next few days. One thing I definitely won't forget about this year, especially in Tech Class is our inside joke about THAT picture *cough* *cough*. All jokes aside, one of the most difficult challenges this year for me was being able to have time for myself to relax without having to constantly worry about homework or tests etc. However, I have learned to mange my time and make space in my crazy schedule to do things I am interested in. And finally, this summer I have no plans as of now, but I know that I might volunteer at my old school's summer camp, like I have for the past four years.
ReplyDeleteMy freshman year flew by and I can't believe I'm almost a Sophomore. My fondest memory is laughing with Emily and Rachel about literally everything because everything makes us laugh. I also had a lot of fun at Cultural Harmony Day. It was really cool to see all the cultures and try all the food. I think the most difficult thing for me was balancing regular school with my last year of Greek school and studying for Latin. Latin was really tough for me. This summer I am going to Greece for a little over a month and I'm going to visit my old friends and my grandmother whose sick. I will also go upstate when we come back and I'll probably take on a summer job for the remainder of the summer.
ReplyDeleteThis year has gone by too quickly for my taste. I feel like it was just yesterday was the first day of school. I remember our first conversation as a group. As an ice-breaker, Lauren Rosario talked about the correct way of choking people. Recently, we are unified in our Infinity War obsession *cough* Tom Holland *cough*. The thing that stressed me out the most were Ms Caughey's essays, tests, and quizzes and Ms. Postler's classes. I made it through because my great friends. This summer, I am staying home sleeping, and catching up with all my movies and tv shows. I am also going to India near the end of the summer.
